Backup Services

Computer Systems and Services provide a secure and reliable data backup to small businesses. With our sector-based baremetal backup, your company will no longer need to worry about lost data or the headache and loss of productivity.

Downtime after data loss costs the average business more than $8,000 per day. Unfortunately, most businesses and remote offices with less than 100 employees perform backup with antiquated tape systems that are cumbersome and subject to human error and unreliability.

The facts tell you more:

  • More than 30% of IT costs are associated with backup
  • On average, 20% of nightly tape-based backup jobs fail
  • 40% of dedicated, full-time IT Managers can't recover data from their tape backups

As complexity and volume of business data increases, traditional fixed-schedule backup to tape or disk no longer provides adequate data protection. Businesses and remote offices deserve the same robust backup, recovery and data availability solutions as large enterprises.

Program Benefits

Image backup technology provides a sector-based baremetal backup. This system is a much more reliable and inclusive method of backup compared to traditional, tape-based software.

  • Reduces after-failure downtime from days or hours to minutes
  • Provides secure, fireproof storage of backups in local offsite locations
  • HIPAA Compliant
  • No maintenance or intervention on your part
  • All backups verified before removable

Offsite Backup

Offsite backup protects your business' data against power surges, theft, server crashes, viruses and other disasters. Unlike cumbersome tape or CD appliances, our program uses the most reliable medium to store your backups: hard drive technology.

Compsys will provide all the necessary hardware and software to implement your company's backup system. In addition, we will set up and configure your new backup system, back up your data, verify those backups, and store the backup offsite in a secure, fireproof vault.

Baremetal Backup

Baremetal backup creates a sector-per-sector backup of the server or workstation hard drive. This allows the drive to be restored in its entirety, i.e., data, applications, OS settings, to the same or dissimilar hardware. This technology allows for an immediate clone of the backed-up system to be created. With traditional backups, the system would have to be completely rebuilt, and OS and application software would need to be reloaded from disk. In addition, traditional backups would require applications, user settings, security, and data to be reconfigured and restored. The baremetal backup process takes a mere 20 minutes compared to the all-day process involved with traditional backups.
